Sun disappearing behind Blencathra
Sun disappearing behind Blencathra
The sun is dipping behind Scales Fell. The knobble above that is the top of Doddick Fell. Hallsfell Top (the summit of Blencathra and left-hand end of the saddle) is to the right. Blencathra's presence meant that sunset on Bannerdale Crags on this mid-winter afternoon was happening at about 3:15.
