Old Maize Crop, Wood Stanway
Old Maize Crop, Wood Stanway
Maize crop left to die back, possibly providing cover for game birds. In the middle distance the Cotswold outliers can be seen, from left to right they are, Alderton Hill, Dumbleton Hill and the larger Bredon Hill. On the horizon to the left, beyond the foggy Severn vale are the Malvern Hills. The white structure in the middle distance looking like a Christo work of art is Toddington Manor, currently undergoing a major restoration for Damien Hirst.
