The Ness - Shaldon
The Ness - Shaldon
A photo is taken from a position just off the South West Coastal Path at the viewing point. The treacherous tidal movements and the shallow water at the entrance to Teignmouth Harbour can be seen beyond the headland. The photo was taken close to low water on a spring tide so the level of the sea was exceptionally low. No wonder there are many rocks which can be seen beneath the headland. The sand banks and the rocks would all be covered as the tide came in.
