NH2293 : Moorland above Glen Achall
near to East Rhidorroch Lodge [other Features], Highland, Great Britain

Moorland above Glen Achall
On the slope dropping down from the plateau that divides Loch Broom from Glen Achall. Just down from the photographer's position can be seen the start of one of the streams that drop down to feed the Rhidorroch River, cutting some sharp defiles on the way. The settlement in the middle ground is East Rhidorroch Lodge. To the right can be seen the continuation of the Glen Achall track as it climbs up towards Loch an Daimh, just visible in the distance. The prominent peak to the left is Cnoc Damh.
