Deerhurst viewed from the riverbank
The small village of Deerhurst is usual in having two surviving pre-conquest churches. St Mary's, the tower of which can be seen on the left in the trees, and Odda's Chapel (behind a tree) which is abutted to Abbot's Court, the timber-framed farmhouse on the right. Here they are viewed from the Severn Way on the banks of the River Severn.
