The Mitre Pwllheli
The Mitre Pwllheli
Before the building of the modern harbour and the cob and the reclaiming of the marshland between the town centre and the present shoreline in the nineteenth century, this was the quayside. The small street behind the pub is called (but not signed as such) Stryd Llygod (Rat Street) in Welsh and Custom House Square in English.
