Culvert under Blea Moor Road
Culvert under Blea Moor Road
Sikesdale Gill flows to within about 50 metres of this culvert and then disappears. Presumably, in times of flood, the culvert is to allow excess water to flow under the road. Pen y ghent can be seen in the distance as a grey mass above the field.
