Eastern Kiln Battery at Brockham
Eastern Kiln Battery at Brockham
The Brockham Lime and Hearthstone Works grew up in the first half of the 19th Century and operated until 1936. From 1961 to 1984 it was home to the Brockham Narrow Gauge Museum but is now derelict. The eastern kiln battery, consisting of six mixed feed flare and two Bishop's patent kilns is now home to a thriving colony of bats.
