Pyecombe, Wolstonbury hill, 'the pond'
The summit of Wolstonbury hill is 'clay with flints' and nineteenth century flint gathering has covered the top in small hollows. This larger one holds water most of the year. The summit trig. point can be seen, centre horizon.
