SJ2541 : Llangollen canal Bridge no. 36

taken 11 years ago, near to Garth, Wrexham/Wrecsam, Great Britain

Llangollen canal Bridge no. 36
Llangollen canal Bridge no. 36
The basic form of the canal bridge around 1800 is well established but when you are putting a canal along the side of a deep valley the bridges have to take account of the fall. This bridge has a gentle slope from right to left. This bridge has the towpath to the left and no livestock access to the right, as in bridge no. 36 SJ2541 : Canal Bridge 35
