Seen powering away from Gillingham Station, this Charter Train was commemorating the end of steam hauled trains on the Southern Region of British Railways in 1967. The train had started its journey at Waterloo and was bound for Exeter St.Davids via Yeovil Junction & Honiton. The return journey would be via Bristol, Westbury, Salisbury to London.
