Arundel Bridge
Arundel Bridge
There has been a bridge here since 1263 when a wooden trestle bridge replaced a ferry. This structure remained in place until 1724 when a new bridge made from Portland Stone was constructed. The new bridge was constantly modified until 1935 when replaced by the current sandstone structure.
