SP6955 : Banbury Lane bridge 43A

taken 10 years ago, near to Gayton, Northamptonshire, Great Britain

Banbury Lane bridge 43A
Banbury Lane bridge 43A
This bridge was built as part of the diversion of Banbury Lane to remove the level crossing on the West Coast Main Line. The shape echoes the form of a traditional arched canal bridge on a much larger scale to span the full width of the cut. As it is an additional bridge between bridges 43 and 44, it has received the number 43A
