The upper section of the mill race (north of the road bridge) is dry > TG2930 : The former Bacton Wood Watermill; a little further downhill, on the southern side of the road, the stream appears to be navigable by small boats. Corn was taken to TG2930 : Bacton Wood Mill with return loads of flour. Link
