Victoria Bridge, Leeds
Victoria Bridge is just to the south of Leeds City Station. It carries traffic over the Aire and Calder Navigation and was designed by George Leather jnr, the canal's engineer. It opened in 1839 to replace an earlier bridge that was swept away by floodwater.
