Shire Hall, Monmouth
Shire Hall, Monmouth
The Shire Hall is located in a prominent position in the centre of the town. It is a Grade I listed building of classical design, designed by Philip
Fisher of Bristol. It is probably the most important building in the town because of its architectural quality and historic associations. It includes two courts, a council chamber and offices for the administration of the town with a covered market at ground level.
