NT1366 : Kaimes Hill

taken 10 years ago, near to Wilkieston, West Lothian, Great Britain

Kaimes Hill
Kaimes Hill
Mostly demolished by quarrying in the last 20-40 years, the quarry face is still visible on the LH skyline. Much of the quarry is now filled in as land-fill and capped - the greyish green dome in the centre is spiked with waste gas vents.
