Bishop's Palace, Great Orme
Bishop's Palace, Great Orme
The remains of the Bishop of Bangor's Palace on the west side of the Great Orme. The Bishop was gifted this land by Edward I for crowning his son the first Prince of Wales, and built his manor house here. It was burnt down by Owain Glyndwr in the 15th century and never restored. Much has now eroded into the sea.
