The George Inn in Southwark is the only surviving tradition galleried inn in London. It was rebuilt in a medieval style in 1676 after a fire in Southwark. The inn was mentioned in Charles Dickens' 'Little Dorrit'. The George Inn is owned by the National Trust. See: LinkExternal link
