Standing dead pine
Standing dead pine
A rare feature in Scottish forests, standing dead wood. Of great importance to wildlife, there is a national park designated to preserve a scots pine forest with many standing dead trees.

The dead tree is surrounded by self seeded birches beside the Allt Brolinn.
