Banc Gwyn
The little ridge is the western outpost of the Cambrian mountains; Pontrhydfendigaid (SN7366 : Black Lion Hotel, Pontrhydfendigaid) and the flat bogland of Cors Caron (SN6761 : Afon Teifi a Cors Caron / River Teifi and Tregaron Bog) lie to its southwest. The highest point is the summit on the right, Pen y Bannau, at just over 350m. The rough grassland in the foreground is the wet grassy moorland of Rhos Bron y Berllan.
