Newton Changeline Bridge 165, Leeds and Liverpool Canal
A changeline bridge is one at which the towpath changes sides of the canal. On some canals they are referred to as turnover bridges. It is not correct to call them roving bridges - that term should be reserved for a bridge which carries the towpath over a branch or arm of the canal, at a junction.
