Railway viaduct over the River Aire
Railway viaduct over the River Aire
The railway is the ex-Midland main line near Gargrave. Perhaps the locomotive driver has paused to admire the splendid Pennine scenery. The photograph was taken from the canal towpath where the canal crosses the river on an aqueduct.
