At Malcolms Point on south Mull coast on the last day of 2007 - described by SNH as "The foreshore and cliffs around Carsaig Bay expose lava flows of the Mull Volcano resting on a wide variety of sedimentary rocks dating from the approximate commencement of the volcanic activity"
