Unmapped path on Lilla Rigg

This quite usable unmapped path bridges the gap from the track at SE872977 to the RAF Fylingdales Permissive Path at SE869980. Eller Beck at SE869980 is culverted and can be crossed on foot via a concrete slab. The track over Lilla Rigg can then be followed to enjoy the view from Lilla Cross. This route is preferable if a circular route from Hole of Horcum is tackled, as the path across SE875986 is indistinct and badly drained. This is a section of the well known Lyke Wake Walk. The return from Lilla Cross to Horcum via Derwent Head Rigg gives walkers a good view of Blakey Topping.
