The Old Swan Hotel
The Old Swan has always been one of Harrogate's most prestigious hotels and has welcomed many famous visitors. The hotel hit the headlines in December 1926 when Agatha Christie turned up here after going missing for over a week. She had been staying here under the name of Theresa Neele and was identified by a member of the hotel's band. The hotel interior was used for some scenes in the film 'Agatha' which starred Vanessa Redgrave and Dustin Hoffman.
