Magnesia Well, Bogs Field
Magnesia Well, Bogs Field
Titled 'Bogs Field' to distinguish this building from the better known magnesia well less than 200m away in Valley Gardens. This little building in a 'gothic' style dates from 1858 and was erected for the convenience of visitors who wished to partake of the magnesia water that rose to the surface close by. Now partly hidden in the shrubbery and generally ignored.
