Brunel's scraper dredger Bertha is in the foreground with a tall thin stack and the flywheel visible above deck. The tall funnel in the background is on the steam tug St Canute. There is also an adjoining steam crane.
The Museum was located in the Canal Basin and closed in 1997. The collection has been dispersed with the tug going back in to commercial service (!) in Sweden and most of the other vessels being relocated to Eyemouth.
