NZ0117 : Trackbed, in Spring Wood

taken 11 years ago, near to Lartington, County Durham, Great Britain

Trackbed, in Spring Wood
Trackbed, in Spring Wood
This section of the former Bowes to Barnard Castle line has been turned into a permissive path, with notices reguarding how it is closed for 1 day a year. It runs from just outside Lartington to Pecknell Wood, next to the river Tees. It is a shame that the bridges were removed from this line after closure because it would have made an excellent cycle way.
