St.Mary's church
By Temple Moore in 1914, the tower lost its 'candle snuffer' spire before the Second World War. The moving force behind its building was Rev.Perceval Laurence, Rector of Walesby 1879-1913 who died on 6th June 1913 .... the very day that building work began.
