Water Intake
Water Intake
The Dolgarrog hydro-electric power station SH7767 was fed originally by water impounded in Llyn Eigiau by a dam and run down to Coedty Reservoir SH7566. After the catastrophic failure of the dam the water level was lowered considerably and the catchment was fed through a tunnel to Llyn Cowlyd SH7363 which forms the high-head generation supply. This building houses the control gear for the water intake to the tunnel.
