Open top bus on Morecambe Promenade
Open top buses were typically older members of the fleet which could be cut down for restricted seasonal operation. As late as 1967, the Morecambe and Heysham Corporation undertaking was operating this pre-war AEC. The special superstructure advertising New Heysham Head was an unusual addition.
This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. LinkExternal link
