Sprinter on Dandrymire viaduct
The viaduct, which is grade II listed (list entry 1384058), was built in 1869-1875. The architect was JH Sanders, the engineer JS Crossley. It is notorious for its construction having been forced by the boggy ground swallowing all the material used in attempts to construct an embankment.

The train seen here is a class 158 Sprinter on the 16.23 Leeds to Carlisle service.
