SN7977 : The east side of Pen y Garn

taken 13 years ago, 3 km from Cwmystwyth, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain

The east side of Pen y Garn
The east side of Pen y Garn
Steep slopes rise from the track to the summit area; the summit cairn can just be seen. The patches of heather on the slopes are good feeding grounds for caterpillars. The many fences erected by ADAS Pwllpeiran detract from an attractive scene.
