NN4777 : An Lairig

taken 10 years ago, near to Garbh Bhruthach [other Features], Highland, Great Britain

An Lairig
An Lairig
A big pass, not often mentioned in the hill literature. It separates Geal Chrn (left) from Beinn a' Chlachair (right, sunlit) The sunlit broken crags of Garbh Bhruthach, slightly right of the centre of the photo are the main feature of the square.
Beyond the pass is the dome of Chno Dearg and the more shapely peaks of Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin and Stob Choire Easain.

A long view in sharp clarity from Carn na Caim above Dalwhinnie.
