NO2674 : Embryonic cornice at the head of Corrie Kilbo

taken 10 years ago, 3 km from Acharn, Angus, Great Britain

Embryonic cornice at the head of Corrie Kilbo
Embryonic cornice at the head of Corrie Kilbo
On the left, partially in the shade a small amount of cornice can be seen having formed in the snow and wind of the preceding days. The Kilbo path is obscured by snow, the only evidence are the footprints of a fellow walker and myself descending via this route. He had ascended via Corrie Winter and I through Corrie Fee. However, on the way down we passed around ten people making their way up the Kilbo path for an afternoon on the tops.
