SO2622 : Ancient field boundary

taken 10 years ago, near to Partrishow, Powys, Great Britain

Ancient field boundary
Ancient field boundary
Stones placed on edge and some very old silver birch trees are the remnants of a field boundary, with open moor above. Did the stones sink into the ground or did the ground level rise?
