Brayton Barff Pumping Station
Brayton Barff Pumping Station
This initially contained a pair of James Watt & Co inverted vertical triple expansion pumping engines of 1906. These worked well and force pumps. Only one survived at this time and it was subsequently largely scrapped during a botched preservation attempt - a sad loss.
