taken 10 years ago, near to Shingle Street, Suffolk, Great Britain

Steep shingle bank
Steep shingle bank
The beach at Shingle Street changes with successive storms. The steep bank and the wet stones on the seaward side indicate that the weather has not been excessively rough in recent weeks. The Martello Tower is located at the southern end of the row of houses that form the village of Shingle Street.
