The Terrace Range
The Terrace Range
A testament to the great Stuart social climber William Cavendish, this huge range with spectacular views grew from c1625 to c1660. Designed by John Smythson it was intended to impress the King but the English Civil War intervened and Cavendish never got his wish to entertain the King at Bolsover Castle
