Admiral Sir William Tennant (1890-1963) is a hero of Dunkirk and the Normandy landings, and was also Lord Lieutenant of the City and County of Worcester from 1950 to 1963. This bust stands on the site of the Old Church which was demolished in 1937, only the tower was left standing which has become Upton's most famous landmark, its tower which is known as the 'Pepperpot Tower'.
