SU7251 : Turning pool - Basingstoke Canal

taken 10 years ago, near to Greywell, Hampshire, Great Britain

Turning pool - Basingstoke Canal.
Turning pool - Basingstoke Canal.
This is the point where boats can progress no further on the canal, just after crossing the River Whitewater. The canal is much wider here and I presume this is to allow boats to be turned.
