Oast Houses
Oast Houses
Long ago converted into houses and offices, these oasts and barn stand on the junction of Seymour Road and the A2 near Rainham, Kent. Oast houses were used for drying hops for beer making. I can remember hops growing in this part of Kent until about 12 years ago.
