Sheepcote Valley
Sheepcote Valley
On the eastern fringe of Brighton, the valley is enclosed to the north by Brighton Racecourse. For long periods of time the area was a rubbish tip which has now been landscaped and turned into a park with many walks for local residents. The war scenes from the 1968 film 'Oh What A Lovely War' were shot in the northern end of the valley. This view is taken from Red Hill and looks north.
