Slochd: Meltwater channels
Slochd: Meltwater channels
Looking down on a complex series of knolls and gullies near the Allt Ruighe an t-Sabhail. These appear to be meltwater channels caused by water flooding from the north in glacial times. A little to the east is a big rocky channel which carries the A9 and railway.
The knolls are covered in juniper scrub.
