Former tramway bridge
Former tramway bridge
This small bridge under the Redhill - Guildford Railway originally took a 2 foot gauge tramway that linked the sand pits alongside Buckland Road with the former Buckland Siding off the main railway by Clifton's Lane. The siding was later used to serve a WWII ammunition and petrol the link to the main lien then being controlled by a signalbox that survived until the 1980s.
