Park Avenue, Aberystwyth

From 1925 until 1968, the Vale of Rheidol Railway crossed here by means of a level crossing, curving around to the left, to its terminus beside the main line station. In those days Park Avenue was a dead-end, leading only to Smithfield livestock market and the railway yards. It is now the main thoroughfare into the town from the east.
