SO1413 : Sinkhole pool

taken 10 years ago, near to Trefil, Blaenau Gwent, Great Britain

Sinkhole pool
Sinkhole pool
This small sinkhole is plugged with soil presumably so it has water in it. Plenty of rain had fallen in previous weeks.
This moor has many sinkholes because of caves in the limestone beneath.
