Guildhall Museum, Priory Park
The only remaining building of the former Greyfriars Friary that was built on this site in 1269. This part was the former choir of the church and survived the dissolution and subsequent destruction of the rest due to city council needing a meeting place. It served as the town hall and assizes until the building of a new one in North Street and became a storeroom until 1947 when it became a museum. This view is from the walk around the North Walls looking across the bowling green.
