Reed beds at Snape Maltings
Reed beds at Snape Maltings
The reeds in this area are cut back on a three-year rotation by the RSPB to ensure they remain in prime condition. If not managed, a build-up of reed litter and rank grass occurs, reducing the vigour of the reeds and making the area less attractive for wildlife.
